As said, Windows 11 has a slightly different look. Here's a quick rundown to what you see on the screen.

The Start button (1) is the square button that has previously sat at the bottom left of the screen, but has now become centered. When you click on it, the Start menu  (2) will open. Tapping All apps (3) brings up an alphabetical list of all the apps (programs) installed on your PC.

Another important tool is Search (4), which is the small magnifying glass next to the Start button. The search function searches your apps, documents, settings and even on the web. You can also search directly from the search box in the start menu (5).
